I love the small size! The tone is perfect!
Sorry for a lower rating, but I’d want to bring awareness that these Orin singing bowls are very very small. They will fit in a smaller palm. Measured -6.5cm or ~2.5” across / a littler taller than 1” tall. A smallest singing bowl I’ve ever seen or imagined based on the product photos and videos is triple the size. Therefore, it’s quite a disappointment, given the high cost — $100USD + int’l fees. When FedEx dropped off the box, I thought it only contained a box of incense! I tried to find the website to see if it’s my fault that I didn’t see the dimension. But as I found the website and the page advertising these Orin bowls, I still couldn’t locate the dimensions! The info is only avail printed with the actual product, in mm! Again, I wanted to support the business, esp after visiting Japan. But such info is necessarily displayed. There’s (one) other feedback about this super small size, but it’s too late! Chris, please fix this for a better expectation!
Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts, Kirshen. I'm sorry for the disappointment about the size of the orin.
We tried to show the size of the orin by including many photos of it with a hand ringing it, as well as a shot of it in the palm of Misaki's hands, but I've now also added the dimensions to the product page based on your feedback.
We appreciate your time to leave the review and hope that you enjoy the orin, despite its small size.
Best wishes,
Chris
Such a beautiful item. My husband purchased this for my birthday. I use it at home in my own practice and also at the end of Savasana when teaching my yoga classes.
Beautiful objet d'art with wonderful sound. I find this to be a lovely way to begin and end meditation or to use whenever I want to clear my head and return to centre. So gorgeous and the peal rings a while to clear the space. Compact size is perfect.
I love my "orin" singing bowl. I use it at the beginning and end of a Reiki session. Instead of my voice telling my client their session is complete, I tap the "orin" singing bowl so they can begin to wake up from their rest. It sits perfectly on a table in my office. I really enjoy it.
