I like the mindfulness timer candles. I have always been able to lose myself in watching a candle flame or fireplace. The flame provides a warm, dynamic, peaceful place that lets me open my senses to the sounds of my surroundings. It connects me to the universe around me. I also like that it helps train me to a reasonable time interval which is relevant when living in the real world.

I ordered both the 10-minute and 30-minute Japanese candles, together with a beautiful candle holder, and I absolutely love everything.

These candles have brought something truly special into my meditation practice.

Instead of watching the clock or being interrupted by an alarm, I can simply enjoy the gentle flame and allow myself to be fully present. When the candle burns down, my meditation comes to a natural, peaceful end.

It's such a simple idea, yet so beautiful and meaningful.
