This brass incense burner by Takaoka Brass maker Nagae+ is designed to show off the beauty of incense smoke.
The incense lays on its side inside the burner, and the smoke gracefully drifts out the slits in the side, dancing along the top of the burner before drifting away.
The small, solid brass burner fits sticks up to 170mm in length.
It can be used with most types of Japanese incense, including our Simple Incense for Zen.

How to Use
Place an included fire-resistant mat in the bottom of the burner and rest a lit incense stick on top.
Airflow can be adjusted by reversing the orientation of the lid of the burner.
If the incense is struggling to stay lit, use the orientation with greater airflow.

It took me a minute to figure out how to use it (I had to read the instructions). It is beautiful, looks simple, has real weight to it, and doesn't waste anything. I am very happy with my purchase, and feel the quality matched (or exceeded) the price.
