Japanese New Year's lucky charm + "omikuji" fortune

2026 is the year of the horse, so we will send you this horse-shaped ceramic "omamori" charm with a paper "omikuji" fortune in the pouch.

This is similar to what you can get when visiting a shrine in Japan on New Year's Day.

The first shrine visit of the year is called "hatsumode", and is an essential New Year's activity in Japan.

Normally, the "omikuji" fortunes that you get at a shrine can range from "very good luck" (大吉 ) to "very bad luck" (大凶), but at New Year's, only good fortunes are passed out.
