3% of each incense sale now being donated to waterwheel restoration

Starting from this year, we have begun donating 3% of the sales our incense to restore the old waterwheel that used to power the mill where it is made.

Currently an electric motor is being used to turn the crankshaft, but the incense maker Tsutsumi-san hopes to be able to restore the historic waterwheel that broke several years ago. 

It'll take several hundred thousand yen to fix, as the work is specialized and will be done by a particular carpenter who knows how to fix it. 

We're looking forward to the day when the wheel will be reconnected!
